Chinatsu Seya

My art is about people's psychology, stories, and emotions in everyday life. I am attracted to people’s authenticity. I want to document hidden emotions, stories, and voices within the moment by microscopically observing every detail from unique angles and perspectives. I recreate the vivid humanity of the moment that I witnessed. I grew up with Japanese Manga (comic books) in the 1970s and 1980s, and that childhood memory of the black-and-white world still inspires and influences my inking artworks.
